Rotation 1:  New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center, Indian Health Service, San Fidel, NM, August, 2005-November, 2005.  Description: 90 day inpatient drug and alcohol abuse program for Native American adolescents.  Duties:  Intake assessments with new residents.  Focus on individual and group treatment with dually diagnosed residents and their families.

Supervisor:  Gerard Garcia, Psy. D., 32 hours weekly.

Rotation 2:  New Mexico Women’s Correctional Facility, Grants, NM., November, 2005- February, 2006.  Description: Intake assessments and clinical mental health assessments with new and current inmates.  Individual and group dialectical behavior therapy for inmates.  Rounds with new inmates as well as segregated inmates.  Training in pre-sentencing assessments with Forensic Psychologists.

Supervisor: Yvonne Lutter, Psy. D., 32 hours weekly.

Rotation 3:   Psychiatry Consultation/Liaison February 2006 – August 2006 University of New Mexico Hospital, Albuquerque, NM Duties: Conduct psychological evaluations based on referral from inpatient hospital units. Specific focus on suicide assessment, commitment to inpatient psychiatric settings, and psychotropic medications.  Serve as a liaison between the medical team and the patient to ensure inpatient treatment addresses psychological needs.

Rotation 4:   Acoma-Canoncito-Laguna Service Unit San Fidel, NM, February, 2006-August, 2006.  Duties: Conduct Psychological evaluations for both inpatients and outpatients including children, adolescents, adults, the elderly and families.  Conduct individual psychotherapy, as well as family therapy.

Counselor, Drexel University Student Counseling Center, Center City Hahnemann Campus, Philadelphia, PA, June 2003- August 2005. Description: Individual and couple psychotherapy and academic testing for students at a culturally and socioeconomically diverse university, report writing, community outreach via psychoeducational workshops, and maintenance of an on-call schedule for emergency consultations.

Data Manager, Social Anxiety Treatment Program, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, May, 2003-August, 2004.  Description:  Manage databases for ongoing NIMH-funded treatment outcome research involving cognitive behavioral therapy for adolescents with social anxiety; manage databases for ongoing treatment outcome research involving cognitive behavioral therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for adults with social anxiety; data collection, entry, management, and analysis using SPSS 12.0; administration and scoring of structured clinical interviews and psychological assessments.

Description: Laboratory evaluations of 30-month-old toddlers and their families (N=72).  Clinical evaluations of toddlers’ ego-control while performing laboratory tasks.

Research Assistant, Families Through Time Study, Clark University, Worcester, MA, April 1998- May, 2000.  Description:  Extensive home evaluations of infants and their families at 3 months post-partum using both observational and interview methodologies (N=90); collaborated in transcription and the development of a system for evaluating parents’ birth narratives; designed system for the analysis of mother-father-infant triadic play at three months post-partum; assisted with laboratory visits and evaluations of infants and their families at 12 months post-partum, including administrations of Ainsworth strange situation (N= 110); completed coursework in and familiar with, data entry and analysis (SPSS); coordinated community outreach efforts with area daycare and preschool centers.
